trying to fix something. :)

Biology, Spanish, English, Theatre, and “Caesar”

I just finished three major study guides out of my four finals that I have to take next week, AND I am four pages in to the Biology I study guide. I am completely finished with the “Julius Caesar” study guide (nine pages with the seven pages of quotes of which some will be included on our test, two pages of character analysis), the Theatre History study guide (two pages), and the first part of the Spanish study guide. If you have any of my classes and would like some study materials, please contact me via Facebook or by email.

I am off to finish the next portion of my Biology study guide. I am only complete with chapters one through five, so I have a lot more to go.

OH, ALSO, I will be posting information about my site soon. I am completely starting over.

Come visit. Not much functionality right now, but major design is done.

it is about summertime

I have a lot of things to do before the end of school next week. This will not be fun. I have to make a Biology study packet with answer, Julius Caesar study packet with caracter analysis, I need to get a tuxedo or suit ready for this weekend, I need to finish the theatre history study packet, and I need to make a Spanish final packet and study every conjugation that we have learned so far. That is crazy. Not to mention I have to volunteer for four hours on Saturday, and then that night I have to go do something else. The only day I will have to rest this weekend is Sunday, and even then will I have to do some work around the house or read. Monday, we have no school. I can use all of Monday to study. Tuesday is our last review day before finals, and I’m studying with friends. Then begins the major stress relief. SHOCK THERAPY! It’s almost over.

stress and decisions

Today has already been a really stressful day for me. I haven’t done many things that are stressful, but I have been feeling the pressure to work and succeed. I have a lot of decisions to make about the next two weeks, and I have a lot to plan. I hope that I can get through it.

Something that really helped me today was being able to sit in third hour with not a pressing issue in sight. Ms. Addington was absent, and when we completed our assignment our group just talked. I feel like I learned so much mroe about the people that I was with, and it allowed me to gain a sense of security about them. I really love the people in my class, especially that group.

Here’s to you.

More from the flip side when I get home. I had something schedule for tonight, but I forgot what it was.

updates? what?! lacking updates?!

My blog will now be updated weekly. I hope that you are ready for this. It’s going to be really intense. I have officially started the final product of my website design. I don’t know if anyone will like it, but it’s what I want. I had a cool Flash design that I made that showcased a lot of my photography, but I didn’t like it anymore. It wouldn’t load on many computers, and frankly was boring me. I thought it looked cool for the month or so that I kept it, but after that, I didn’t care much at all for it.

So, a lot has been going on with my life. I am mostly focused on getting through the next two weeks, which will be the most tiring weeks of the month. I have a lot to do this weekend, including three parties and a day volunteering at a festival Downtown, and even more next weekend. It’s going to be hectic, but I think that it’s going to be amazing.

Today I went and saw 17 Again with Bradley Silmon, Lindsey Fileccia, and Emily Mwakitawa. We also went to eat at Moe’s, which was also really fun. We had such a good time together; I am very happy that we got to spend our Monday night having fun! I have officially decided that, even if not the help of the other amazing people I know, these people are going to make summer the best.

I have two recommendations…two other blogs for you to read.

Lindsey’s blog: Diary of a Little, Red-Haired , Jewish Girl
Bradley’s blog: Pick or Choose

That’s all for now. Peace yall. (I’m trying to mix Southern with the City.)

ETS

hello world! introducing ethan.

Me, on the far right, with my parents.

Welcome, and thank you for visiting my blog. I don’t know how to start this, so I’m just going to talk a little about myself so you can get to know me.

I was born in Louisville, Kentucky, and I now reside in Shreveport, Louisiana. I moved to Shreveport on June 28th, 2008. My mother and I moved here to be with my father, who was working away from home at the time. I used to attend Dupont Manual High School, one of the top schools in the nation. I am proud to have made the switch and keep the same standards in schools, making the translation to Caddo Magnet.

I am a goal-oriented person. I believe that I can accomplish a lot in my life simply because I have the drive to succeed. I love to be busy, and I don’t have a hard time keeping focus when a task is at hand. I love books, music, and movies. I do not get to watch television that much, but my TiVo records House, M.D. and Jon & Kate Plus 8. I love plays, musicals, and singing. My favorite play is “Metamorphoses,” which was recently seen playing at Centenary College at the Marjorie Lyons Playhouse. I plan on having a part-to-full-time job over the summer and my Senior year. I am very frugal, and I’m always looking for the best deal.

I love to make friends and be with people, but since I am an only child I also love being alone. I think that being an only child has brought me some strong aspects and viewpoints about life. I think that having a positive attitude about life, especially when times are rough, will bring you through the day. I try and help anyone that I can, because I want to change someone’s life for the better.
